Kate Upton's Zero Figure With Zero Gravity Bikini Swimsuit Funk! `Sports Illustrated` Issue!
In addition to her feature in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Kate Upton stars in a playful, floating photo editorial. The simulated zero gravity flight was conducted by Zero Gravity Corporation and was done through a series of 17 parabolas, an old technique used by NASA that involves the plane ascending at a steep angle before slowing, straightening out and then quickly descending at a steep angle. Weightlessness happens between slowing near the top of the arc and pointing the plane straight down at high speed to begin the next parabola.
The futuristic shoot can be found in the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue which is now available on newsstands worldwide.
